Assando is a timer that helps you stay off your phone while something bakes in the oven, or for as long as you choose. This policy explains, plainly, what information the app uses and what happens to it.

1. Summary

  • Assando does not collect personal data. None of your information is sent to the developer or to third parties.
  • No account is required, and no email, phone number or sign-up.
  • No ads, trackers, usage analytics or automatic crash reports.
  • No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.

3. What the app uses on your device

Everything happens only on your device, and nothing is kept after you close the app:

  • Timer length: the time you choose and the countdown.
  • Device language: used only to show the app in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
  • Vibration: used for touch feedback when you adjust the time or hold the emergency button.
  • "Reduce motion" accessibility setting: read to turn off animations if you prefer.

4. Device permissions

  • Vibration: used as described above.
  • Internet: Android may list internet access, but Assando does not send or receive your data over the internet.
  • Location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos and notifications: the app does not use them.

5. Purchases

Assando is a paid app sold through the Google Play Store. Payment is processed by Google under Google's own policies. The developer does not receive your card or payment details.

6. Sharing

Assando does not share information, because it does not collect any.

7. Your rights

Because Assando does not collect or store your data, the developer holds no information about you to access, correct or delete. 8. Children

Assando is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect personal information from anyone.

9. Third-party services

The app does not include ad, analytics or tracking services. The Google Play Store, where the app is distributed and sold, may process data under Google's own policies, which are separate from this one.

10. Changes to this policy

If the app starts using new device features (for example, emergency contacts or controlling notifications during the timer), this policy will be updated before that feature ships. The update date will always be at the top.
